The SEA Quantathon 2025 aims to innovate quantum computing applications for social goods, allowing us to redirect the benefits of quantum technologies towards the humanity. The issues chosen are in healthcare & medicine, renewable energy, and climate change relevant to all the Southeast Asia countries.
Additionally, this event allows the students to experience the complete tech startup cycle, including but not limited to idea formation, pitching, and prototyping solutions.
Last but not the least, the format of this event encourages students from different nationalities to work together, fostering and strengthening collaborations across Southeast Asia in developing a sustainable quantum ecosystem together while focusing more on potential opportunities rather than threats in quantum computing.
